NATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION DAY

National Higher Education Day is observed annually on June 6th.

Exponential costs of higher education have turned a college degree into something of a luxury for many Americans. Because of the cost of a college education, a degree is out of reach for many students unless they receive financial aid and scholarships. Educating and motivating future college students on how and when to apply for funding will help increase their chances of attending college and graduating with their degree.   National Higher Education Day is designed to educate and inspire college students. For more information about higher education, available funding and scholarship opportunities please visit izamarolaguez.com

It is my desire to have a National Higher Education Day to educate and promote the many different ways students can fund their education. By having a National Day I will be able to inspire students of all ages to never give up on their dream of receiving a higher education degree!  Izamar Olaguez, founder of National Higher Education Day.

CELEBRATE

Celebrate by advocating for higher education on your social media sites.  Post photos about what level of education you have received and what future academic goals you have. Advocate for any funding opportunities.  Use #HigherEducationDay.  Donate to a scholarship program
